On May 10, 2018, police were called to the 200 block of Green Lane Drive, Camp Hill, for a report of a one-vehicle crash into a utility pole. The vehicle almost struck a resident who was working in her yard. No one was injured in the crash. Police responded and the driver, 27-yr old Matthew Mendolia who lives on Green Lane Drive, showed signs of drug impairment and was taken into custody for DUI. He was found to be in possession of a full bag of heroin as well as several empty ones. He was taken for processing at the York County Booking Center with charges to be filed at a later date.
