The Fairview Township Police Department arrested 28-year old Hector Q. Pittman of State Street in Schenectady, New York following an investigation of a 28-year old man who overdosed and died at a local hotel off of Limekiln Road, New Cumberland in August 2017. The male died as the result of opiate toxicity and the identified drugs in his system were Morphine and Fentanyl. During the investigation, police identified Pittman as the subject who delivered the narcotics that led to the victim's death.
Police filed charges against Pittman in October of 2017 and obtained a warrant for his arrest. In August of this year, police received a tip that Pittman was in Schenectady, NY. With the cooperation of their police department, Pittman was arrested and brought back to York County to answer for these charges. Upon being brought back to York County, Pittman was arraigned and incarcerated in the York County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. The preliminary hearing has already occurred and the charges were bound over for trial.
