The Fairview Township Police Department arrested 36-year old Stephen Christopher Jackson of Baylor Road, Glen Burnie, MD after police were dispatched for a male attempting to cash a bad check at Members 1st Federal Credit Union on Old York Road, New Cumberland on September 22, 2018. When officers arrived, Jackson quickly admitted to attempting to cash the bad check and that he was put up to it by two males who were in the parking lot. Those males had fled the scene. As police were arresting Jackson, they asked if he had anything in his pockets that may potentially harm the officer. Jackson stated "well, I do have a nickel of coke in my pocket". Stephen was placed under arrest for bad checks and possession of cocaine.
