On December 7, 2017, police were called to the Dollar General located at 99 Lewisberry Road, New Cumberland for a report of a male customer who exposed himself to two separate employees in the store. The male exposed his penis to a female employee, continued shopping, and then left the store. He then returned approximately one hour later and made an additional purchase. When he approached the counter to pay, he had his penis exposed and visible to the female clerk.
On December 13th, the subject came back to the store and the employees were able to obtain a vehicle description and license plate number. The vehicle was registered to 26-yr old Kurt Hocker from Big Spring Road, New Cumberland. Police were able to identify Hocker when reviewing the store's surveillance footage of the incidents. When interviewed by police, Hocker denied intentionally exposing himself to the employees, but he also admitted to being arrested by Lower Allen Township Police recently for a similar incident.
Hocker was charged with two counts each of Indecent Exposure, Open Lewdness, and Disorderly Conduct and is scheduled for his preliminary hearing on January 17, 2018 in front of Magisterial District Judge Scott Gross.
