Shortly after 5:00 pm on June 9th, Fairview Township Police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive for a physical domestic dispute. Upon arrival, a female ran towards the officers screaming for help. Police observed blood and injuries on her face.
She explained that she saw 42-yr old Bradley Bush, who lives at that residence, snorting drugs in the bathroom. She said she slapped him, and he responded by throwing her on a bed and holding a pillow over her face trying to suffocate her. She was able to get away and began to run down a hallway when he punched her in the face, causing her to fall into a wall.
Bush told police he did push her after she slapped him, but denied punching or suffocating her.
In addition to the observed facial injuries, the female victim was also found to have a broken bone in her elbow due to the fall. Bush was charged with one count each of Aggravated Assault, Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
