Closed Cases

On April 5th at 2am the resident of a home in the 2000 block of Ironstone Hill Road heard a loud crash. They checked the house and found that their glass panel front screen door had been shattered. It appeared that an object struck the window. A BB is suspected from an air gun.

Case Status:

On April 3 2021 damage was found in the Red Lion Cemetery lawn from a vehicle intentionally doing multiple "donuts." No headstones wore damaged.

Case Status:

On March 28th, a resident in the first block of E. Main Street in Dallastown filled his gas tank and parked the truck in his driveway. The next day he found that someone had siphoned the fuel from the tank overnight.

On Sunday April 4, 2021 at about 5:30pm a witness saw a male in a black BMW pulling a car over on Pauline Drive in York Township. The BMW had something covering it's license plate and had red and blue flashing lights. The impersonator was out of the car yelling at the driver he had stopped. Please...

Case Status:

On March 23rd at 8pm officers were dispatched to a call involving a dead body possibly from cardiac arrest on Dew Drop Road at the I83 overpass. As the officers arrived they quickly identified the body as a 6 foot tall life-sized doll in a flimsy cardboard box. NOT A REAL HUMAN.

On March 24th, it was discovered that someone stole an $1,000 Stihl concrete saw from the construction site on Chapel Church Road in York Township. Thefts of lumber and other construction materials has been on the rise.

Case Status:

On March 22nd at 2pm, for the second time, two white males were seen in the area attempting to sell electronics out of the trunk on a white Infinity SUV. Most likely stolen electronics.

Case Status:

On February 24th a resident of Leader Heights Road found that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a specialty tool. The glue gun was valued at $500.

Case Status:

On February 24th at 1:00pm in the 2400 block of Cape Horn Road a resident's Ring doorbell camera captured a delivery driver dropping off a package on her porch. A few minutes later the camera was blocked and a blank screen was recorded. When the picture returned, the package was gone.

Case Status:

On February 23rd at 8:15pm food was found dumped and splattered on a donation box and church. For the third time, someone entered a food donation collection box in he 2500 block of Cape Horn Road removed food and used to make a mess. The food was intended to be donated to the community in need.
