On January 08, 2016 at 1:40 PM, police were called to a home in the 200 block of Elmwood Blvd for a report of Harassment by Communiction. The victim reported receiving inappropriate text messages from unknown sources.
On January 08, 2016 at 08:00 AM, police received a call from a victim reporting her credit card had been stolen and someone had attempted to use it at the Rutter's Farm Store, located at 910 S. Richland Avenue earlier in the morning. The transactions were denied. The investigation is on-going.
On January 06, 2016 at 10:35 AM, police were called to a home in the 600 block of Windsor Street for a reported credit card fraud. Unknown actor(s) accessed the victim's Visa debit card and used it to make unauthorized purchases. The investigation is on-going.
On January 05, 2016 at 12:53 PM, police were called to the Dollar General Store, located at 1077 S. Edgar Street, for a report of a Retail Theft that had just occurred. As a result of the investigation, the incident was cleared by exceptional means.
